Dividend investing remains one of the most reliable ways to build wealth and generate passive income over time. For investors in the East African market, knowing exactly when companies distribute their profits helps in strategic financial planning, whether that means reinvesting the dividends (DRIP) or using the cash for personal goals.
At Personal Finance Hub, we understand the importance of timely information. That is why we have put together a comprehensive schedule of the confirmed dividend payment dates for 2026 from some of the region’s most prominent publicly traded companies.
Key Dividend Dates to Watch in 2026
The upcoming months are packed with payouts from major players across the banking, manufacturing, and logistics sectors. Here is the breakdown of what investors can expect:
May 22, 2026 — KCB Group
Investors holding KCB shares will receive a dividend of KES 3 per share. As a leading financial institution in the region, KCB continues to deliver value to its shareholders.

Following closely, TBL will distribute Tsh 529 per share to its investors.

How to Prepare for Dividend Season
To ensure a smooth receipt of your dividends, we recommend verifying that your Central Depository System (CDS) account details are accurate and that your preferred bank account or mobile money number is correctly linked with your stockbroker.
Tracking these dates not only helps you anticipate cash flow but also provides a window of opportunity to reinvest those earnings back into the market, taking advantage of compounding interest.

Hello,
Is there a form to fill in when wanting to receive dividends from TBL and TPCC?
I find it difficult to know where or how the process is instead of going to the head office physically especially if we are not in the country most of the time.
